Who Is This Man?!

“The disciples were terrified and amazed.
‘Who is this man?’ they asked each other.
‘When He gives a command,
even the wind and waves obey Him!’” (Luke 8:25b, NLT)

Jesus’ followers were no longer terrified by the weather conditions, they were now terrified by the power of this teacher that they thought they already knew. Jesus never ceased to amaze them. Every day He showed them something new to marvel at or wonder at. Just when they thought that they had Him figured out, they’d find themselves asking each other, “Who is this man?!”

I want to continually live in awe and wonder at WHO Jesus is! I want to be amazed at His love, holiness, justice, power, compassion, provision, sovereignty, patience!
