“So remember this and keep it firmly in mind:
The LORD is God both in heaven and on earth,
and there is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:39, NLT)
Wow! What a truth! God reigns. He is the supreme sovereign over all the earth. The earth is His. Everything belongs to Him! Who or what could possibly compare to God? Yet, I find myself constantly elevating worthless, temporary things. Through worry, anxiety, and control, I attempt to take the reigns, forgetting that THERE IS NO OTHER! God, please help me to remember that You rule and reign over all. Grant me the peace and confidence that come with that awareness.
