Generosity vs. Scarcity

“Give freely and become more wealthy;
be stingy and lose everything.
The generous will prosper;
those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” (Proverbs 11:24-25, NLT)

I have lived too much of my life with a “scarcity” mindset. In other words, I find myself grasping too tightly to what I think is mine. Yet, truthfully, nothing is really mine. Everything I have belongs to God! He can take everything I have in the blink of an eye. In the same way, He can bless me with more than I can imagine in just one moment. As His temporary steward, God simply asks me to give freely. May I hear God’s voice and give accordingly, no matter what He asks of me!
