Am I shrewd enough?

“The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of light.” (Luke 16:8, NLT)

As I read on, Jesus is specifically referring to resources and possessions. Here’s the question that I need to ask in light of Jesus’ observations, Am I using my stuff for Kingdom purposes--to gain something eternal? Or am I wasting my stuff on temporary purposes?
