It is stupid to hate correction!

“To learn, you must love discipline;

Hi, my name is Ken, and I hate correction! When somebody confronts me, I automatically tense up. I find myself instinctively going into defense mode. But this really is STUPID! I cannot learn and mature unless I allow others to point out my blind spots: the parts of my life and leadership where deficiencies exist.

“God, please help me to get over my defensiveness. Help me to value growth over my own insecurities. Put in me a love for discipline. And bring me to a place where I actually value correction!”
