In light of the Gosnell verdict...

In stating his opposition to the Born Alive Infant bill 12 years ago, then State Legislator Obama said: "Because if these children are being born alive, I, at least, have confidence that a doctor who is in that room is going to make sure that they’re looked after."

In light of the Gosnell verdict, does President Obama still have that same "confidence"? Has his current opinion regarding legislation that would protect born alive infants changed at all? Would he commit to making sure that abortion clinics have to comply with the same standards as other hospitals and medical facilities?
