What is Faith?

"God wants us to trust Him--to trust Him enough to do what He says, no matter how we feel or how certain we are that things will work out. The Greek word translated as "faith" in our Bibles has nothing to do with powerful imagination, eradicating doubt, or any other from of mind over matter. It has nothing to do with feelings or mental imagery. It has to do with obedience" (p. 106).
Isn't this what God is really after?! Regardless of how we FEEL, God wants us to OBEY Him! Abram had to believe God to the point of ACTUALLY packing his belongings and moving to an unfamiliar place. How are you DEMONSTRATING your faith in God this week?!
