Forgiveness = Fear?

“LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But You offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear You.” (Psalm 130:3-4, NLT)

I’m so thankful that God offers us forgiveness... that He cancels our record of sins. But as I receive God's forgiveness, a byproduct should be learning to fear God. I should be growing in awe, respect, and obedience. God, thank you for Your forgiveness... help me to fear You the closer I get to the cross.
