Fremont Heartbeat
Last night, I had the opportunity to emcee a banquet for Heartbeat, Fremont's pregnancy resource center. It was a great opportunity to be a part of a ministry that is very close to our hearts, and, as a church-planter, it didn't hurt to be able to rub shoulders with the 350 people who were in attendance.
For those of us who are pro-life, I think that it is EXTREMELY important that we support Heartbeat and other organizations that are on the front line of actually ministering to abortion-minded women. It's not enough to be AGAINST abortion... We need to SUPPORT these women and walk with them through a very difficult, confusing situation. So props to Sherry Sprouse and everyone at Heartbeat!
