“Then Joshua asked them, ‘How long are you going to wait before taking possession of the remaining land the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has given to you?’” (Joshua 18:3, NLT)
Because of fear, several tribes had not yet fully possessed the land that God had previously promised was theirs. If we’re not careful, we too will be paralyzed by fear and settle. Now here’s the thing, taking possession of the land did REQUIRE A FIGHT. It required sacrifice and risk. It was not handed to them, gift-wrapped and tied with a bow. What has God promised you? May you fight for it! May you take some bold, audacious risks and take steps toward what God has already said is yours!
