Is your soul thirsty?

Is your soul thirsty? Do you feel emotionally worn out and parched? Listen to these words from Jesus: 

“Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (John 7:37b-38, NLT) 

When my soul is thirsty, I need to immediately check my connection to Jesus. Am I abiding in Him? If so, I can be certain, that I am receiving His life! I am a recipient of His living waters.

The other part of this is if I am truly connected to Jesus and living water is flowing from my heart, then I should not be spewing bitterness, unforgiveness, criticism, condemnation, hurt, etc. “Oh God, please let me remain in you!”
