The Watchman

“Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman... Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.” (Ezekiel 33:7-8, NLT)

God has not called us to be well-liked or popular. He has called us to listen closely to His warnings. And when the warning comes, we are responsible to lovingly COMMUNICATE that warning to the people in our spheres of influence. The people around us may not appreciate the disruption, but if they pay attention, their lives will be saved. Regardless, we will have obeyed. Are you listening? Will you obey, no matter the cost? Will you speak up?
