Dare You to Move!

"Then the LORD took hold of me and said, 'Get up and go out into the valley, and I will speak to you there.'  So I got up and went, and there I saw the glory of the LORD..." (Ezekiel 3:22-23a, NLT)

Why didn't God just reveal Himself to Ezekiel right where he was?  Why was it necessary for Ezekiel to actually get up and go somewhere else?  I'm not sure!  But I know that God still does the same thing today.  I wonder how many times I have missed out because I refused to move?  Maybe I refused to walk across the room, go outside, or turn off the phone.  Sometimes God wants to move me somewhere else, so that I am positioned to really hear and listen.  May you obey the Spirit's prompting.  May you be willing to move!
