Point of View

In Mark 16, Jesus warns His followers very plainly that He was going to be killed and raised from the dead. Yet, Peter advises Jesus that this doesn’t need to happen. Admonishing Peter, Jesus replied with these words:

“You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” (16:23b, NLT)

I want to be so tuned into the frequency of the Holy Spirit, that I can catch glimpses of God’s point of view regarding my circumstances. May God move us outside our own point of view, so that we might see from His perspective.
