Finance Basics (3 of 5)

The third principle that Dave Ramsey talked about on Sunday was "Get on a Budget." While most of us automatically recoil when we hear the word "budget," if we're going to be wise stewards of the money that God has entrusted to us, we MUST have a spending-plan.

In Luke 14:20, Jesus stated, "Which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it."

A spending-plan is concerned with two important issues: INFLOW and OUTFLOW. I have found that the hardest part of a budget is not coming up with all of the numbers, the hardest part is sticking to the plan!
