Arrogant

I was just reading a friend's blog, and he had a great quote from Francis Chan:

"Worry and stress reek of arrogance."

How true!  When I think of the greatness of God and really dwell on WHO He is and what He has done in my life, how dare I spend so much time stressing and worrying?!  Yet, I find myself stuck in that rut on so many different occasions.  Not proud of that.

"God, give me a view of YOU that causes everything else to pale in comparison... including the issues that cause so much stress and worry.  I acknowledge my COMPLETE dependence upon YOU.  I want to really understand that YOU love my family and our church MORE than I love them, so I surrender it all into YOUR hands."
