Journey's Vision - #4 Appealing Environments

Our facilities communicate a strong message long before we ever get a chance to utter a word! Regardless of our size and financial capabilities, we want to always honor God by providing excellent ministry environments. Let’s not get used to peeling paint, stained carpets, and mildew odors… Let’s constantly be on the prowl for how we can affordably send a message that we care about our appearance!

In the short term, we are closer than ever to a lease agreement for our current building. In addition, just last Friday we received a call from the Fremont City Schools about the possibility of acquiring one of their modular classrooms. The classroom would be moved to our property and would house our Kids Church (we believe our kids would have AT LEAST four times as much space as they currently occupy). In the situation of a lease, we would be in a better position to make some improvements to landscaping, exterior, and parking lot.

Down the road, we dream of moving into the first phase of a multi-functional facility that will be built to suit Journey’s vision and values… a place that kids will enjoy and adults will feel comfortable and safe. We already own 7 acres of property on the corner of SR 20 and SR 19 South. We've begun the preliminary work of sitting down with an architect to study the feasibility of building on our property.
