Journey's Vision - #6 Missions Footprint
From our beginning one year ago, we have sought to be involved in Jesus’ admonition to “be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). From the beginning, we have given 10% of what comes in every Sunday from our weekly tithes and offerings to local and world missions. We dream of a day that we are able to give 50% of our general budget to missions. How awesome would that be! I know that it's ABSOLUTLEY possible!
Further, we dream of providing annual week long opportunities where scores of our attenders will be able to go and serve stateside and even worldwide. More than anything, we want to be a people who are actively praying for God’s purposes to be accomplished throughout our world.
Let's pray that God would help Journey Church to make a footprint in the landscape of missions both locally and globally!
