One Sunday to Go!

While incredibly exhausting, yesterday was so much fun! It was great to have a service where everything seemed to be clicking! A week to go before our official “Grand Opening,” Sunday’s attendance was our highest (in part, no doubt, because of a good ole fashioned “potluck” afterward). My teaching seemed to flow well and Keri and the band did a great job in leading us into worship. After the service, it was so much fun to see our house jam-packed with folks from the new church enjoying their conversations with each other. I even enjoyed the game of Euchre with the guys who hung around afterward, even though I lost!

After everyone had left, Keri and I hung out with Meghan (our incredible children’s pastor) and discussed facility issues. We’ve got plenty of room for our adults, but not so much extra space for our children. Our nursery is almost at capacity (and this is before our Grand Opening). I guess it's a good problem to have, yet it is still a problem! Be praying that God would bless us with wisdom to know how to proceed!
