Immovable

I'm really liking this verse from 1 Corinthians 15:58...

"So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord’s work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." (NLT)

I want to live a life that is STEADFAST and IMMOVABLE... STRONG and STEADY. I don't need to be the fastest guy on the block, but I do want to have what Eugene Peterson calls, "a long obedience in the same direction."

"God, grant me Your strength and perseverance, and allow me to always be enthusiastic about YOUR work... realizing that what I do for You is lasting and eternal!"
