Community Garden Meeting

I've gotta give props to Roger Hart for facilitating our Community Garden meeting tonight.  As I've posted before, our vision is two-pronged: (1) To grow, harvest and distribute fresh produce to benefit local food-banks, shelters and other community residents needing assistance; and (2) to offer a sort of "on-the-job-training" education for those who are in need.

We had a better attendance at tonight's meeting than I had anticipated, and it seems like we've got a high enough commitment level to move forward with the project.  I'm really excited about the potential that we have to positively impact our community.
