"Red Cell" Thinking

I was reading an article about the presidential election, and the author stated that one of the candidates needed more "red cell" thinking. According to Lynn Sweet of The Chicago Sun-Times, "Red cell is a term used by the intelligence community to describe wild, out-of-the-box approaches to potential situations."

At the Willow Creek Leadership Summit back in August, Craig Groeschel challenged church leaders with the following: "In order to reach people that no one else is reaching, we'll have to do things that no one else is doing. To do things that no one else is doing, we can't do what everyone else is doing!"

I'm convinced that Journey needs more "wild, out-of-the-box approaches" to reaching peope for Christ. We need some "red cell" thinking! We've got to seek God for His creative, imaginative, risky (from a human perspective) ideas for seeing lives changed in our community. Any takers?!
